The School of Translation also provides TOEIC preparation for foreign students who want to prepare for the Test of English for International Communication. A high score on this test is required by many businesses and institutions considering job applicants whose first language is not English. Throughout the program, students will practice with four full-length practice tests identical in format and question types to the current TOEIC test. They will also be exposed to text portions that provide extensive practice in listening and reading comprehension skills with activities that match questions found on the TOEIC. During the Lab practices, students will have the opportunity to receive instruction in English language listening and comprehension.

The course is taught by instructors with MA and teaching certificate who have substantial teaching experience in the field.
